I should play through Golden Sun II before this new one for the Nintendo DS. I've only got through the original back when it was new.

The second one was fun too. Though I technically never actually finished it since my game got erased RIGHT before I was about to defeat the final boss. :cry:

I don't see what the big deal is... Golden Sun is just another generic RPG.

Oh, I want to try it! I wanted to try the game once but never had the funds to buy it.
Maybe my sister will be interested in splitting the cost with me.
What is it about again?

The Golden Sun series is published by Nintendo. It's their other rpg franchise besides the Mario rpg games, so it obviously isn't generic.

I played it for like 5 seconds and decided it was just another generic RPG stuck in the past, and the characters looked like Lego men. No thanks. If I wanted to play a bland RPG like that, I would play the original NES Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, which back then, were original.

Any RPG with Mario in it, and the Mother series are the only RPG's worth playing, because it's not the same old Dark Ages or Medival crap with the occasional futuristic technology put in at the end. No more Final Fantasy!! !
