Are like Aspies. No, they are much worse. The NTs drive me crazy.

I work in a grocery store where at least all of the stockers are like this. Football is the absolute only thing they talk about besides what is going on in the workplace. When one walks up to the other, well, yeah. Pretty much nothing else ever comes out of their mouths.

I love sports too. But not like this. My social skills have improved to the point where I fit in easily, but I feel like the opposite because I don't know every player on every team and the points after every quarter for every single game that was played on a given day.
I am not exxagerating. Because when my iPod isn't trned up to high levels I listen to my coworkers conversation, not because I am eavesdropping but for labor purposes and knowing why is going on a store operated on he graveyard shift by a team. They literally know everything. How is this possible? Cox Communications is advertising being able to watch two games at once, but we don't have TVs like Marty McFly Jr.'s in Back To The Future II. With--what was it? Six screens? Eight screens? And not everybody there owns a damn computer either. Are they full of WALMART when they said they saw this or that?

What really bugs me about most people and sports is the double standard. If i get dressed up, use face paint to support my NFL team at a bar or at that game, I am accepted. But if I get dressed up and use face paint for a costume at a sci fi con and talk about sci fi, fantasy movies, books or roleplaying games, I'm shunned and considered a geek.
