Any of the shadow of the colossus beasts,

or maybe a bigdaddy from bioshock in a paintball type scenario, but with awesome tricked out m4 carbine

but with a topic like this there are so many great characters you would just love to get tangled up with

General Zelgius from Fire Emblem. For all of those who've played Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn I'm sure many would agree that this guy is uber awesome; it wouldn't surprise me if Zelgius had some kind of condition... I mean the character may not have been created with that in mind but still...

I would also like to fight Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, so long as I don't end up on the wrong side of a Fatality.

I would like to fight some of the battles in The World Ends With You, just because the battle system is so interesting. Plus the battle soundtrack would get me pumped.
