last time i was in vegas, i found that if you patiently observed the other folk lose money in certain machines, and waited for one or more of 'em to prime the machine with their lost-money, these primed machines would be more likely to pay out. so that is what i did. i chose the machine with had the most other-folks' duckies lost in it, and i chose a machine which was 1/400th of the wagered amount, i.e., a 5 cent machine in which i put 20 dollars and bet three at one pull of the bandit lever, only i never used the bandit lever but just pushed the "bet 3" button instead. i never failed to get at least a 150% return on my investment, which at that time was about 6 hours worth of button pushing to get the equivalent of a day's minimum wage, on average. but doing this sure beat sweeping floors or swabbing toilets for the same return. haven't been to a slot since '93. maybe i should pay 'em a visit again sometime. it is probably the easiest "minimum wage" job one can get. this isn't luck, anybody could do this.
