No, it's really a four dimensions environment, but divised in 3D layers. If your attentive and take the time to think about it, while the ring is deplaced it disapear from one of the 3D layer to appear in another. From the perspective of the initial layer, as 3D spatial beings, we will see the ring disapear and magically reappear elsewhere after a while.
