what's your favorite "womb" level?

While a "womb" level can actually take place in a womb, it is any level made to look like the inside of an organic creature, made of squishy meat, organs, blood vessels. As this is what the genre is called I didn't bother to explain it, but it looks like not everyone knows this.

Thanks, Eggman! Was rather confused... although I do vaguely remember some levels like this from the NES/Sega days. Not something I see often now, at least in the limited exposure I have to gaming anymore.

I haven't played very many, mostly just Zerstorer (Quake mod) and System Shock 2.

Maybe Gears of War 2's level inside the worm. Or if it counts, inside High Charity in Halo 3.

If you search for words like "belly" or "digestion" in the LittleBigPlanet community, you can find plenty of womb levels there.

The best one that comes to mind is of course the Alien birth sequence from AvP2..

There is one in Okami when you go inside a dragon god. Its funny because there is this pink thing that Issun keeps telling you NOT to hit which you know means you gotta hit it! Also the N64 Zelda occarina of time level too.

The only one I can think of is one level in Force Unleashed, where you have to go inside a giant Sarlacc. Fascinating place, that Sarlacc :lol:

Last level of Contra for NES was pretty alien-womb like.
