Besides getting into making videogames I have NO interest in learning C++ or whatever so making them=NO. I was thinking what I'd calling "gamer" Psychologist a psychologist studying videogames. (this would fall into social psychology example studies have compared GTA-soccer game UH how about something that's s**t! Sonic 06 with SMG? OMG both cartoony games and yet the Sonic one makes you yell and throw your controller " I wonder why" *sarcasm* Sadly my parents think I should choose something NON Psychology so I was thanking a 3rd field. LAW! Any ideas pertaining to it that can revolved around gaming (BTW No I don't want to become a female Jack Thompson and have my license revoked and come OFF AS A COMPLETE ASS!! !!) I'm on the side of the gamer guys!! ! :-) Any other non game making and sadly non psychology gaming areas would be appreciated. (Also NO testing I play them casually for fun I don't want to play it 1,000 times to test a glitch NO THANKS! LOL!)

Thanks again!! :-)

I've read about a stage of development of Halo 3 (or some other Halo but I think the 3) in which a large number of guys were playing at the same time in a large room while psychologist registered their response to the game, both pysichally and psychologically, and the game was then adjusted to optimize the effect on the players. Talk about old school behavioral psychology and rats in a cage...

Psychology is cool if it is cool for you. As an Aspie you can hardly motivate you to things that dont catch your interest, so informatic are a poor choice if they dont draw your attention.

And as far as i can judge you dont have to be quite bright to become a psychologist, many cant even do a simple differential diagnosis on asperger....

AS could even be plus for this field, i mean an aspie has do develop or learn rules about social behavior that other people obey subconsciences.

You don't have to code.. There's level designers, idea makers, etc etc.

I've never played those two games, but I know for a fact that Uninvited and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth scared the crap out of me.

Uninvited might not be quite as scary to those who never played it though...I recently replayed it, and it still seemed to have a good effect on me, but maybe only because it brought back so many childhood memories of screaming and running away from the Mac?
