In true the FFVI (3) glitch didn't happen only on intangirs, but while sketch on any invisible ennemies (And you can make most monsters invisibles.) Another game breaking glitch in this game is that spells (Including the instantly fatals X-xone and Doom) got 100% chance of sucessfull hit against invisibles ennemies, including Kefka! It's know as the Vanish/X-xone trick.
I've doubted the Vanish/X-Zone/Doom thing was a glitch. I remember it was mentioned in the game guide for FFIII. Exploitative glitches aren't usually covered in official strategy guides. More likely it was just some secret the programmers left in.
Sketch bug vid. No audio but demonstrates it well.

Some other memorable glitches?...
The GTA games are rife with glitches but a couple of the more interesting ones still stand out to me.
For GTA 3 and Vice City there was the Flying Tank. Can't truly call it a glitch by itself since it does require using the game cheats, but since it's probably not something the developers intended, it is a glitch; a glitchy cheat. Anyways, there's a cheat for floaty physics to be applied to vehicles. It applies to the several ton military tanks as well... Well with the cheat, all one has to do is take a tank, twist it's turret around and keep firing the gun repeatedly. The turret acts like a rocket engine and with a decent straightway, the tank takes right off into the air like an aircraft. Go ahead, fly around the city in a tank. I still say it's best way to get around in those games. (Landing can be bit a tricky though)

Another GTA glitch, this one from 4. The Swingset of Instant Death.
On the easternmost island there is a swingset, nestled in some apartments in the southeast edge of the island. You'll kind of know once you find it, cause it appears to be "popping" with debris animations every so often. Anyways, approaching it on foot is deadly. Go near it and just hang around a bit if you dare. Eventually your character will get pounded by the invisible fist of an angry god and die instantly.
But that's that's not the fun part. The fun part is taking a vehicle up to the swingset and positioning it just right so that the angry god fist launches the vehicle a good third across the game's cityscape. People actually test this thing to see how far they can launch themselves across the game .I've messed with thing so much out of boredom. Whatever the impact is, is deforms the vehicles unlike anything else in the game. I think this swingset inflicts the most damage of anything in the entire game.
