I searched the forum for notpr0n, but nobody had posted about it and I'd hate to see the Wrong Planet community deprived of one of the coolest free internet games in existence.

I haven't had time to play for a while (got stuck on level 30-something), but it's one of the coolest games I've ever played. It starts off very easy and then get much, much harder. You don't have to know much about computers as long as you are willing to learn a few things along the way and there are collections of non-spoiler hints out there if you're absolutely stuck on a level. Enjoy!

ARRAHG!! ( diabolically laughing and tearing at my hair) ArrrrrraAAAGGGGGGH!! !

I can't quit it, either! I just want to close the browser and go for a walk outside in the cool misting air. . .

you fiend, you had to supply the URL, now didn't you. . Later, I am up to level 7 . . .

I can't get past Level 2 for the life of me, so I quit.

I followed the pointing finger to the tab, and then. . in utter frustration I recognized the 'trick' was changing the #$@! URL address to the next logical address.

yikes, is that a 'cheat?"

I got to level 6 and don't know whether to continue or to quit. It certainly makes you think in new ways, but its annoying that its not a puzzle INSIDE the browser. URLs and using external programs just doesn't seem fun to me.

Like in philosophy, you can justify any interpretation of the riddle, each of which might be ingenious but only one of which is correct. This would seem to indicate that for a non-mathematical problem, there is absolute truth. As a non-religious person, I find this to be a contradiction.

As I live as an Aspergian in this current world reality, I find there are far more contradictions than absolute truths. :D

The funny thing is that mathematical truths, (i.e. absolute truths) are not real. Numbers and operations are mere representations of the problems they represent. This is a world abounding in contradictions without any real absolute truths.

I agree. That's what is so amazing about having a mind that can contemplate mathematical truths--we can imagine perfection, even if it doesn't exist in the world outside our heads!

As for level 2 and getting to the next level by typing in the URL--that is NOT cheating and it will not work for any other levels. The only way you can "cheat" is to look up spoilers.

I think what made the game so infuriating and yet so fascinating for me is the fact that there aren't really any rules. It requires a lot of flexible thinking, which is hard. I kept vacillating from "Damn that game designer and his sadistic game!" to "I finally beat a level and feel like a genius!"
