Do you know of the game of Nomic?

It's a bizarre and fun game, where changing the rules is part of the gameplay. I love it. It's one of my longest-running obsessions. xP... Probably because I can never seem to quench the thirst properly.

Basically, each player's turn consists of suggesting a change to the rules, whereafter everyone votes, and if the majority is in agreement with the change, it occurs.

It can be combined with other games too. For instance, you could start playing Go Fish, and add the rules for changing the rules on top of that. It could be really fun.

One version I want to try makes posing suggestions a privilege you pay for. I want to play a game of Go Fish, where you can discard pairs in order to suggest new rules, and whomever has the most rules passed when the deck runs out wins, instead of whomever has the most pairs. I think it'd be awesome. =3

Bump. I edited the original post quite a lot, so I figure it's legitimate. xP

Any opinions on this? Has anyone ever played this game, or would anyone like to? I have played it a few times, and it is quite fun.
