I start off...

Did you know that before Persona 3 Portable was out, that the main character of Persona 3 and FES is the only Protagonist that can wield multiple weapons?

Did you know Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill Shattered Memories are the only games that doesn't involve the order?

Did you know Super Mario Galaxy is not the first time Mario has been in Space?

The Codex in Mass Effect 2 references the (real) first named extrasolar planet, Bellerophon, a "hot Jupiter" (a gas giant in a close orbit around its parent star) orbiting 51 Pegasi. (The name comes from a Greek tragic hero, Bellerophon, who was given a bridle for the winged horse Pegasus by Zeus after being wronged by several kings. Eventually Bellerophon became so proud that Zeus frightened Pegasus in flight with a lighting bolt, throwing B. to his death. The planet was named this both because the star is in the constellation of Pegasus, and because it is theorized that the planet used to be in a wider orbit before being sent down 51 Pegasi's gravity well by interference from a rogue planetoid.)

Liberty City as depicted in Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto III (and briefly in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) is not related to Liberty City as depicted in Grand Theft Auto IV; the games' producers decided to place the new game in its own continuity (nods to the old given only in the fast-food chain Cluckin' Bell and the presence of Laslow, the ever-changing radio personality).

Did you know... Half Life, though never definitively stated, is deduced to have taken place on May 16th, probably 2003.
Calendars throughout the game state that it is 'December', though various other sources state it being either March or May - and day numbers in relation to days of the week can cause a quick deduction that it happens either 2003 or 2008, 2003 likely being as such due to it being mentioned in scribblings my Mark Laidlaw, the writer of Half Life.
It is said that the date of Half Life 1 was deliberately kept vague by the developers.

Did you know... the locations of Voodoo Vince are based on New Orleans, with, for example, the clock tower in 'The Quarter' being reminiscent of a similar building in reality - albeit not as warped by zombie dust...

Command & Conquer series: Joseph D. Kucan, who plays Kane, is both actor and director for all of the C&C series live cinematics.

Of all the games made, Half-Life (the original game) held the same retail price for nearly 4 years before dropping ($49.95) (most games drop their price within a year).

Supreme Commander: The Cybrans were originally called, "The Recyclers."

In Persona 4 it is possible to date multiple girls at the same time without consequence. Oh, if only it were that easy in the real world to start a harem...

Also from Persona 4: One of the Social Links in the game (Ai Ebihara, of the Moon Arcana) can be broken if you say the wrong thing. If it is broken, you will lose all possible bonuses for Personae of that Arcana. This is the only Social Link in the game that can be broken.

Finally, again from Persona 4 (Sorry guys, I'm almost done) It is impossible for a Persona to know both Light and Dark spells, with one exception: Naota's Persona, Sukuna-Hikona, which starts out knowing both Hamaon (Light - med. instant kill chance, 1 foe) and Mudoon (Dark - med. instant kill chance, 1 foe), and can learn other abilities from both sides such as Hama Boost and Mudo Boost.

Yeah, can you guess which game I've been playing recently?

The voice actor for The Darkness in the game The Darkness does his sinister voice without any electronic alteration (this is more impressive when you hear the voice)

The game Dead Rising had an achievment called "Zombie Genocide" for killing 53,594 zombies, which would be the population of the town it is set in. The Game Left 4 Dead also had an achievment for killing also has an achievment called "Zombie Genocidest" for killing 53,595 infected, which is but 1 more the Dead Rising's. And the game Prototype has an achievment called "Trail of Corpses" for killing 53,596 which again is now 1 more the Left 4 Dead's.

The childrens game Banjo-Kazooie and it's sequel may look inocent at first glance, but it is actually filled with dirty jokes including areas that when viewed from above look like genitals, and other sexual innuendos.

In the game World of Warcraft, the raid on Kel'Thuzad's necropolis has only one living creature . . . the cat Mr. Bigglesworth (the name of Dr. Evil's cat in Austin Powers), and if you kill it, KT gets rather mad.

Heavy Gear II has an easter egg: During the week of Christmas, all of the heavy gears, when viewed from 3rd person, have Santa hats.

Playing Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark you learn the following about a few of the characters: Deekin the Kobald bard likes chocolate, and has a problem with his underwear. The Tiefling, Valen Shadowbreath, had no idea why women would be interested in him using his tail for "certain activities." Nathyrra and Aribeth don't get along (for obvious reasons), but their antics can be just as funny (funnier if you have Deekin paired with any of the aforementioned).

In the World of Warcraft's achievement list, you must kill a certain number of turkeys in 30 sec. Course, after that, you get attacked by just as many (Legend of Zelda reference). On that note, there is also a question chain whereby you can get a Sword of Mastery and a boomerrang called "It's a Secret to Everyone."

Originally, Sonic the Hedgehog (SGn) was supposed to be a rabbit character who could use his ears to grab, throw, and whip things. This idea may have been passed down to such games as Ristar the Shooting Star (SGn), Shantae (GBC), and - most recently - Sonic Unleashed (360/PS2/PS3/Wii).

Pokémon (various Nintendo consoles) was inspired by Satoshi Taijiri's adventures in bug-collecting. It evolved (NO PUN INTENDED) from his "urban insect-collecting" idea.

Sonic CD (SCD) features a sound test that, when you enter certain passwords, showcases some interesting static drawings. One of these drawings showcases Sonic as some shirtless, angry Blue Man Group reject.

Did you know in Persona 4, that Chie and Yosuke are the only charcters that can't get killed by leaving them in the Midnight Channel (Or TV world whatever you call it) for too long?

Did you know in all the Social Links of the Magician Arcana in both Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 (Junpei, Kenji, Yosuke) havd their lovers ended in tragedy?

Did you know Persona 4 is the only protagonist that didn't had a tragic ending regardless what ending he got?

(First Persona Game, I didn't know what happended (Sorry). Persona 2 Had the Protagonist being stucked in a second world where all his friends forgot about him, Persona 3 had the Protagonist had him/her dying in both endings becoming a seal or having living his/her normal days where everyone forgot what they did in the past year before the end of the world happening, where as in Persona 4 he says goodbye to his friends and goes on the train in all endings regardless if he got the good ending or not)

That's because Chie and Yosuke have set dates on which you save them, you can't choose to hold it off because it's part of the story, plus it's still early on in the game.

I'm guessing you also play the Persona series. I got P4 for Christmas and it's awesome, but havent played the others. I've just gotten past Naoto's dungeon (Oct. 10 in game) in P4. So please, no spoilers yet!

Chris Metzen, mastermind behind World of Warcraft (and the other Warcraft games) not only does a large amount of the character concept art and creative development, but also voices quite a few NPCs. Thrall, Algalon, Saurfang Jr., Ragnaros, Nefarian, and Varian Wrynn are some of the characters he has voiced in WoW.

In Baldur's Gate 2, you'll meet the ever so famous Drizzt. If you are a elf named Drizzt with a very bad reputation, he will attack you for slandering his name. If you killed him in the first Baldur's Gate, or have some of his stuff, he will also attack you.
