Just getting the word out that I'll be doing a liveplay show of Clock Tower 2(Not the Struggle Within) this coming Saturday at 8pm EST.

This is the sequel game to the original Clock Tower and continues the story from where the first left off. I haven't really played it before but I skimmed some guides so I have a bit of idea what to do.

My audio problems seem to be fixed now so you should be able to hear the gameplay.

Come in a take a look. :)

In the meantime, I'll put up a poll option to help decide what to do next after this since "Clock Tower" storywise pretty much ends with the second game(there are other games, but I don't think they have anything to do with the first two games plotwise. If I really feel up to it, maybe I'll look at them but I've heard they're pretty bad...)

So here are my choices:

Castlevania: Dracula X
This is the regurgitated version of Rondo of the Blood for the SNES... Which is actually quite challenging to play and has one of the most infuriating Dracula battles in a Castlevania game. Play as Richter Belmont(minus all his cool movesets) to kill Dracula and maybe save his girlfriend along the way.

Soul Blazer
This one is a bit more long term and I'll have to break it up into multiple shows. It's an action RPG from the SNES and is the first of the "Environmentally Conscientious Trilogy" of RPG games from Enix. Basically you're some guy... yeah, just some random guy, who has to restore the world by killing lots of monsters... and he talks to flowers. I've kind of wanted to replay the trilogy, so if that's the case, I'll have to start here.

Einhander
Probably one of the best space shooters ever. I still enjoy this game a lot and am always up for it.

I'd love to be part of this but I don't get off work that day until 11.

I'll be recording the plays if you miss them.

Since I'm a bit bored tonight and not sleepy, I'm going to do something a bit special.

I'm going to stream Super Castlevania IV.

I know it's been done a lot before and I'm a practical master at this game anyway... but I'm make it bit more challenging and do a no upgrade/no special weapons run. I know I did one a long time ago and it's not that hard to do.
So anyone can drop in tonight and look.

I'll definitely check out Clock Tower 2 on Saturday. :)

I don't know anything about the other games you mentioned, but I was sold on the random guy who talks to flowers, so I vote for Soul Blazer.

Okay, just a bump and update before 8.

I've done some more test runs of the stream and I think I got a good thing down now.
I ditched manycam and am trying superwebcam now for my video feed. Judging from my test stream a bit ago, I stream about 20-25 fps now, which is a lot better than the 10-15 fps I was getting from manycam. I've adjusted my audio levels so things should sound okay.

Now about the games. I've been debating of how to go about this from here. Judging from my test streams, I do get a bit of random lag in my emulators while streaming which is throwing off my twitch reflexes. This might make it harder for me to play action oriented games while streaming so perhaps Dracula X and Einhander may not turn out well.

Soul Blazer should play fine I think as it doesn't really require twitch reflexes being something of a Zelda style game. I was thinking of doing it as a set of video streams throughout the week, or as a "Let's Play" style of video series for youtube. I'll do the other games in the series as well after. I was trying out the games earlier in the week and I actually look forward to doing them as it's been a long time since I've played them and there really are so many odd things in the series.

Anyway, the above issues don't affect Clock Tower 2 and it's still on for 8pm. :)

If anyone is interested I'm going to a replay of the last scenario of Clock Tower 2 since I wasn't able to record it fully last night. It shouldn't take too long since i know what i have to get and where to go this time. Come watch if you like.

I used to be obsessed with Clocktower 2. I made a painting of Stephanie and liked drawing certain scenes from the game. I was stuck at the end of the 2nd scenario where you have to shoot zombies as Alex Corey with the shotgun. My ps1 wouldn't register that I shot them, I don't know why. I happen to own the survival guide too, a rare find that I bought from a website. I liked the way Stephanie looked in the game, with the odango hairstyle. It is a really awesome game, and Clocktower 3 is a great game too.

Is that the other clock tower game on the PS? I guess that would technically make it Clock Tower 3.
