I was watching Dexter Season 3. Got the end of the 1st episode PS3 menu, Went to the Dexter Menu and selected "Play All Episodes" PS3 Menu,Went to select the episode manually under the Dexter Menu went to PS3 Menu,FFwd episode 1 PS3 menu (It doesn't go to the next episode no matter which of these I do!! !!) Thinking it was the disc I put it into my computer and did the ffwd thing YEP Next episode! So what gives!! !! I just connected it to HDMI and a 1080i HDTV resolution if that has any issues? Perhaps a settings issue on the PS3? If so what!!? I don't want to sit at my computer to watch this (I have a 360 but the controller's busted so PS3 was my main DVD player!! ! ARGGG!)

Great, now I know Sony didn't fix my biggest problem with the PS2. :wall:

Yeah, the PS3 can have some problems with DVDs that aren't Blu-ray. Check to see if there is a Blu-ray release of Dexter: Season 3, and buy that if it exists.

Oh, don't worry. The PlayStation 2 can play DVDs perfectly. You just haven't tried it yet.

Wow. That's kind of depressing. Still, I suppose I have multiple mediums to watch DVDs on. I mean, I have a gaming rig, a 360, and a PS3. How does this help you with your problem? Well, all I can say is pray that they'll release it soon.

No it really can't, there are two PS2s in this house both of them have their lasers cleaned fairly regularly and neither likes DVD movies.
