Sims 3 coming to consoles

I've found out that The Sims 3 is finally coming to the PS3 and 360, and I am so excited!

I love the Sims games, and it might be the perfect game to get for myself for X-mas. I'll spend hours building my own little house and characters and decorating everything in my own little exotic style. Plus I'm interested in all the new features it has.

Anyone else looking forward to getting the Sims 3 for the consoles?

I don't really see how the game can be any good on consoles. Its whole design seems geared to the PC.

Aww come on, they're not that bad on the consoles. Not to mention the fact that not all of us can afford to play them on our crappy computers like some privilaged children. ^_^

Actually, I just hate playing games on the PC. I perfer playing them on my TV with a controller instead of a keyboard.

I'd given up hope on a console release, and I was about to but it on PC. Glad I waited! My PC could handle it, I just don't really like PC gaming. Haven't played a Sims game in YEARS, so it should be good.
