I got really into playing these things. I like trying to grow my mental abilities. Do you like them? Do you think they work? Which ones do you play?

I like free ones like Neuronation

http://www.neuronation.de/index.php?a=s ... anguage=EN

I'm Moog there, add me if you like, and mock my crap brain or whatever.

I also like the one on Facebook, Brain Buddies

http://apps.facebook.com/brainbuddies/?ref=bookmarks

And Luminosity is good, has a few freebies, but it's quite expensive for the whole program...

http://www.lumosity.com/

This site has lots of brain type games

http://www.gamesforthebrain.com/

If you know of any more, please post 'em!

Those look like fun sites. Maybe I should spend less time on WP and work on my brain more.

It's not "brain training," but an educational site I enjoy is Geoquiz:

It's probably only fun if you have a thing for maps, but it's great for improving one's knowledge of political geography.

I like geography games, Kaybee! There's a similar but slicker (and hard!) one here;

http://www.kongregate.com/games/crafics/globetrotter-xl

I think this thread could encompass all types of games with an educational sort of bent.

You, sir, have just made my day. This is very exciting. I don't know whether I should be professing my love for you or cursing you for how much time I will inevitably be spending in front of the computer this weekend (and beyond, no doubt).

Well then, let's just go with a little of Column A and a little of Column B. :wink:
