Games with Animals

For the longest of time, I've loved animals. Fantasy or realistic, Virtual or my own pets. I've recently taken a liking to snakes. I used to hate them but know believe that they're just misunderstood. I mean you would'nt want somebody to scream at you when they see you.You wouldn't want someone to try to kill you if you accidently hurt them. That's why I'm trying to collect as many games with animals as possible. I want Snake Safari really bad. So does anyone know any fun games with cute animals?

zootycoon part 1+2

The objective is to build up a wellrunning zoo. Some of the animals look rather cute and in the second installment you can actually walk into the animal's habitats and interact with them. You get to feed them, wash them, cure any illnesses they might have. And if the bustle gets too much for you, you can hire staff to take care of the little darlings. The games also comes with a load of scenarios you can play through.

As far as I recall there are no snakes in those games though...

Snake Rattle & Roll for NES? (I think there's a Genesis port, too)

I've not played it much, but I know my cousin loves it.

I mod ZT & ZT2; there are several snakes available online for ZT and ZT2 has just begun to mod snakes into the game.

A few other games:
Kinectimals and Eyepet (same concept, different systems)
Nintendogs/Nintendogs & Cats (DS or 3DS, respectively)
The Sims 2: Pets (must have Sims 2 to play)
SimSafari (not really recommended, but it is an animal game)

Madagascar

I wish there were more games where you play as animals. I'd love a sandbox fps game played from the point of view of a predatory animal where you just survive.

EVO: Search for Eden, for SNES is kind of like that.

But side-scrolling, (slightly) non-linear RPG instead of sandbox FPS.

This is obvious, but all of the versions of Animal Crossing have animals in them, as do Kinectimals (which scares me to death) and Nintendogs (which made me cry when I didn't play for a day or so, forcing me to give it up).

Sonic is an animal.

I believe Ipredator and WolfQuest may be just what you're looking for.

How about Haunting Ground? It's a scary game, but it has an animal! He's a white german shepherd named Hewie who the main heroine rescues from a trap and they become friends. Hewie serves as her protector against the enemies in the game, and she can train him to search for items or activate switches. You can even play fetch with him!

Deadly Creatures for Wii. You play as a tarantula and a scorpion. You kill snakes and rats. OK, it's not cute, but it's still interesting.
