I just beat the game (PC version) on normal mode and am soon going to play Zealot mode. Overall, it was a great game, better than the first. The story was much more fast paced with more characters and the action was more intense than the first. I'm not going to post any spoilers here, but I thought I'd open up the discussion for y'all. Have you played the game? What do you think of it? What is your favorite weapon? I'm tied between the plasma cutter and the line gun, but the flamethrower is a close second.

im pulse rifle all the way. sure its a great idea to severe limb by limb to kill them but im more a direct fire kinda guy. lay down a spread of bullets or plasma and dont lay off the trigger til dead. plus that the only real gun that you can stack ammo. 100 rounds for that vs what 16 rounds for the plasma cutter.

Definitely agree that Dead Space 2 is better than the first one. I'm punching my way through the PS3 version.
