For the last ten days, I've been renting games instead of buying them, and I've found it's very cost effective to use my mums blockbuster rental tickets, so I'm going to do it again. I've taken out Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2, so that's those done, but where to go next? I've narrowed it down to a few games:

Assassin's Creed 1/2/Brotherhood
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (CoD6)
Mass Effect 1/2
Brink
Left4Dead (not 2, but 1, have 2 on Steam)
Fable III ... Nah.

And that's pretty much it. There are probably others I'd consider, so feel free to suggest good games. However, I don't like games that make you jump. So Dead Space 1/2 is out of the question.

I will definitely recommend Mass Effect. If you can, play both, but if you can only get one, get #2. I liked it a bit more; it was a bit more polished than the first game, and more exciting, for me. But both are awesome games, and both worth playing. 8)

I've played a bit of Mass Effect before, until the vehicle sections completely ruined my gameplay experience, and Mass Effect 2 was actually top of my list, Bioware being one of my new favourite game companies.

Well, then you'll be pleased to know that there are no vehicles in ME2. ;) Neither is there any planet exploration in the car thing, which I liked, but it's still a great game. It feels a lot more cinematic than the first, maybe partly because of the superior graphics quality.

Yeah, heard about the vehicle sections not showing up for work from Zero Punctuation. I actually felt the same way between DAO and DA2, it felt more epic because the design changed.
