This question is more aimed at die hard resident evil fans if there are any on this site?

Do you think it would be a good idea to build a replica of the mansion from the resident evil 1 remake game. It would have to be an absolute spitting image of the mansion from resident evil even down to creating the right lighting effects in certain areas.

We should get our fellow aspie Bill Gates to build it for us :D

Here is a tutorial of the mansion

I'm not a die hard Resident Evil fan, but I do think that would be pretty awesome.

I loved the Resident Evil games but I only got halfway through RE1 before I got a huge scratch on the disk :(

I would definitely have to take a tour if it was actually built. That was such a good game.

That would be really cool to see.

But Ultimecia's Castle from Final Fantasy VIII would be extremely awesome. 8)

The resident evil 1 remake was the best resident evil game ever made in my opinon.

Yes, the remake and Code: Veronica were my favorites.

Not to get sidetracked from Resident Evil, but if I had a choice to construct any building from a game it would be Castlevania, then again, that is very unrealistic and probably impossible, oh well. Spencer Mansion, yeah!

The REmake, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 were the best games in the series, IMO.

And in the unlikely event that I came into lots of money, I would actually build a replica of the mansion, albeit without the monsters or damaged bits. And I would remember to pay Mr Trevor and let him and his family leave without incident. :)

I've tried playing RE 1 and 4, the first one had horrible controls and I gave up on it, and #4 was too scary for me. 8O

Really?

I thought CV was a huge letdown after all the improvements that 3 made to the series.

But then again, maybe I'm just weird...I liked Survivor...

I didn't really like 3 as much, I haven't played it in a long time so I don't remember my reasons.

Was it because of Nemesis?

Hmmm...I don't think so, but I can't remember. Now I want to play it again to see what my thoughts are.

Resident Evil was too hard for me...it got boring fast too. The only game I never really enjoyed.
3 had nemesis which pissed me off because while I am trying to solve puzzles the last thing I want is some ass trying to kill me randomly. Plus I always got anxiety whenever I played 3 because of the damn nemesis popping up wherever I would. Now that you think about it it was kind of cool.
