As some of you are well aware. The PlayStation Network got hacked and it has been offline for some time, preventing online play and downloading from the online store.

I have been affected but it hasn't stopped my from going though my game collection. I have amassed a backlog of games that i stockpiled for months and now that school is over, i have time to play them. I wasn't planning on this stock pile but it has come at an interesting time.

So i ask one and all, now are you coping with the PSN outage/blackout?

It just means less time on the PS3 and more time on the 360 for me.

I've been spending more time here on WP that's for sure.

I've been playing on Xbox Live and laughing at my friends who use PSN :D

Though in all seriousness I hope that Sony prevents such a thing from happening again

I was thinking of getting a PS3 but after this whole thing I'm not so sure anymore. I just hope Microsoft has learned from Sonys mistake and is implementing a failsafe plan to keep hackers OUT.

My 360 is easy, a high percentage of people with headsets, headaches dealing with cheaters and modders are at a minimum I don't have to worry about compatibility issues, I don't have to worry about getting the latest patch. I can plop down on the couch and play. I get a warm and fuzzy false sense of achievement from achievements and non-personal space invading camaraderie from a group of fellow misfits I've been playing with on Xbox live for 7 years.

My PS3 is for games that aren't on 360 and has most of the same strengths, lower percentage of people with headsets though. Plus I occasionally use it as a Blu-Ray player

My PC is for games that aren't on 360 or PS3. Plus porn.

By playing games that don't need an internet connection. I was never much of an online gamer anyway, so it hasn't really affected me that much.

I mostly play single player games anyway although I use PS Home quite a bit.

I just played through "Donkey Kong Country Returns" on my Wii, and I've been playing my new Nintendo 3DS a lot too.

I have been playing Xbox 360, Wii and the 3DS a lot more. I do play my ps3 and psp games with no internet connection needy. I heard that Sony thinks that Anonymous is behind the attacks. Anonymous of course denies it, so its them or someone else did the attacks.

Lace-Bane has been playing PS2 games on his PS3 or playing single player PS3 games when not doing work or playing guitar :D

Lace-Bane also has a 360, but losing connection to PSN isn't enough incentive for him to play it :P

PSN let me download a system update a little while ago, but it still wouldn't let me log in afterwards.

I guess it's gradually being turned back on a region at a time.
