That's... almost tempting. I deliberately gave away my WoW disks a long time ago, but it'd be interesting to see what changes have been made since then... :)

That would be great if not for the fact that I was bored to tears after a few hours playing the trial version. I still can't see the difference between WoW and the many "Free-to-play" Korean MMORPGs out there.

WoW is a waste of time. You've got to be in it to win it aka devote all of your time to raiding and grinding

Only if your goal is to "win it". I had a great deal of fun just playing a character, undertaking the quests that I thought made sense for the guy I was pretending to be. (Some of the post-Cataclysm content helps with that; for instance, a young warrior who hooks up with the Rambo expy in Lakeshire is going to find himself involved with the squad even after the storyline concludes with blowing a great hole in the countryside - you run across the Rambo expy and the Colonel later in another region...)

Yeah, it's a shame when you get to level 20 though.

WOW isn't a waste of time, it's great! I do it for relaxation - but I haven't for months because I can't afford an account.

I hate what they did to Auberdine...

Yeah, so do I. I played years ago and I remember it being one of the first towns I stopped in. I was kinda sad when I saw it in ruins.

At least there is now something behind Stormwind, and being able to fly almost everywhere is a bonus.

I've played WoW before, you meet some great people on WoW but it just eats up all of your time. You have to spend time trying to get those wonderful items so your character can be the very best out there. Like for example when you play battlegrounds, having the best gear means you won't die as quickly

It's not a waste of time if you get enjoyment out of it.

Then you should check out Runes of Magic or Allods Online. Both are very much like WoW, but free to play. I couldn't tell you how good they are, although I've heard that they're great if you're into that type of MMO (which I am definitely not :P ).
