Twisted Metal for PS3!! !! !

In case you didn't hear the news, a new Twisted Metal is coming to the PS3. After a very long absence from the videogame scene, it has been six years since the last game in the series, Twisted Metal Head-On for the Playstation Portable(and that was on a handheld, the last Twisted Metal on a console was Twisted Metal Black for the PS2 way back in 2001). But now Twisted Metal is back and in full force. Set for release October 4th, 2011, it now boast an online multiplayer mode with up to 16 players. Each car now has two special attacks, not just one, and drivers and cars are now interchangeable(the only development I don't like). Its unclear if the game is a sequel to the previous games or an entirely new continuity.

Anyone else excited about this game as much as I am?

Oh... My.. Goodness...

Not too happy about helicopter's but, whatever.

Twisted Metal was revealed at last years E3. This is nothing new. But, yes, I will probably be buying it.

Oh my gosh! I was thinking about this game the other day, wondering if they would ever release a new one. I remember playing Twisted Metal for the original PS console! It was a lot of fun. Too bad I don't have a PS3, otherwise I would play the new one.

I am not sure. I have not liked TM since 2.

Always liked the TM's done by the original crew (mostly TM2 and Black). I hope the live action cinematics go better than they did for the first game (they never made it in to the game on account of being awful):
