Terraria came out the other day.

It's like minecraft but 2d and more role-playing-gamey.

Would there be interest in sharing a server?

Hey, this is a decently old topic.. I was going to create one myself about this game but I decided to search first.

I just got a Cracked version of this game, I am angry at the moment I can't buy it, My sister is out and I cannot use her Credit Card to buy it.. So I'll be playing this Cracked version until she gets back..

Its still fun, Though. Haha.

Once I buy the full version of this game I would be VERY interested in sharing a Multi-Player Server, this game is endless amounts of fun and I can see it getting only better with a few friends to boot around to underground With, killing slimes and skeletons, and what not.

It is indeed like Mine Craft, but different, It seems like there is a lot more to do in this game, more to create, more silly items to fool around with, more monsters(They aren't terrifying either!)

No cave sounds.. Yay!

Playing this at the moment. Mildly amusing but lack of recipe information in-game is frustrating, especially as many of the recipes don't make much sense. And I'm sick and tired of the "you must dig out N rocks providing N squares of ore to smelt to get 1 bar of metal mechanic" (or alternatively "digging out 1 square of rock provides N bars of ore to smelt to provide O bars of metal") across all games, it's pointless, just make it 1 to 1 equivalence FFS, but that's by the by.

Haha, Yeah, I got a tad frustrated with lack of recipe info, except they show up when you have the materials..

I just used the Terraria Wiki to see Crafting Materials, etc.

I too wish it was a 1 to 1 on the ore to bar, except there is actually a tonne of Ores in Caves and such, I think it would make it too easy, since the higher level your Gear(the higher level your ore/Bar) The higher level you are.



I just had a meteorite spawn, farmed it all up after I farmed it all, a Goblin army spawned from the West, Except they ran at me from the East and bombarded my City, breaking down my doors and Killing all my Friendly NPC'S .



I'm going to attempt and Farm 7 more Lenses from Demon Eyes and spawn a Boss via Suspicious looking eye, you craft it at a Demon Altar with 10 Lenses, and you can get some cool drops from the Boss it spawn.

I just bought Terraria and downloaded it, but haven't gotten to play it yet. But once I do, I'd love to play with a person/people here.

I'm looking at the server console, I'll try hosting a world.
(Easier said than done, something somewhere is blocking the traffic. Fah.)

I'd love to play multiplayer with someone/some people. I'll see if I can get it to work, but with a router I probably won't...

Since I got Terraria 2 or so days ago, I've played about 20 hours. This game is really awesome; one of my favorites ever. Already I've defeated two of the 3 bosses, although on the harder of the two I died many times. At least you don't lose anything when you die, except money, but you can get around that by storing it in a chest. I look forward to finally getting hellstone, then soon after facing the hardest boss, Skeletron.

I nearly shat myself when the giant Eye of Cthulhu came to kill me. He'd been spawned once already, but walking around the map I never saw him. Then a few in-game days later he spawned again (you get a little message at the bottom of the screen) and I thought to myself "I wonder where he is? I never saw him last time." and i minute or so later, I see this giant eyeball 5 times my size come out of nowhere, and I freaked out. I don't think I died fighting the eye, but I did many times while fighting Eater of Worlds, since I fought him first, because I was trying to get meteors to fall by breaking shadow orbs, and when you break 2 or 3, he spawns, and I was totally unprepared, but his loot from beating him was quite useful.

I've broken like 5 orbs, and have only gotten two meteors, and the second one only had like 150 meteorite ore. I'm trying to make the meteor armor, space gun, and phaseblade, and so far only have the suit and pants of the armor. I don't want to fight Eater of Worlds again.

I've almost reached hellstone at the bottom of the map, but there are just way too many fire imps and bone worms, and I keep dying, despite having pretty good armor and full health.

I'm going to get the game assuming I can clean out some of my disk space. My Steam username is ZharekRaldeesh.

Terraria is only about 20mb, so I highly doubt you don't have enough space.

I want to play multiplayer sometime. And I have a few pieces of iron, silver, and gold armor and weapons that I don't need that I can give someone. Also, I really want to beat Skeletron, but right now he's way too difficult for me, so I need help.

I have a full set of

Necro Armor
Molten Armor
Shadow Armor

I can't find an underground Jungle anywhere.... So much digging involved with this, haha.

Skeletron is pretty simple once you have the Minishark.

So far I only have a set of Meteor armor and Shadow armor. Just yesterday I finally beat Skeletron, and got lots of good things from the dungeon, especially a Muramasa and Cobalt Shield, and was finally able to mine some hellstone. I freaking hate Fire Imps and Bone Serpents. But now I need to make an obsidian generator, so I can make a Molten Pickaxe and get more hellstone.

Yesterday was quite productive: I made a glowing mushroom farm and have tons of those, and killed Skeletron very easily with a Star Cannon. It took about 90 though, but I wanted to be 100% sure I'd beat him before I faced him. So next on the agenda is to get loads of obsidian, then get Molten armor, tools, and weapons, then maybe explore the underground jungle, or fight bosses again. Unfortunately, I'm near the end of the game, but after putting 35 hours into it, and the promise and certainty of big content updates in the future, I am very happy with it.

Personally, I think $10 is too cheap for this game; I'd gladly have payed $20 or $25 for it. It's one of my favorite games of all time.

Obsidian generators aren't too bad to make, just takes some time, it's good though

I was freaking out the first time I went down into the UnderWorld, I got attacked by two bone serpents at the same time, and I was only in Gold armor!

I don't know why I was down there, I couldn't mine anything and I didn't have the Obsidian Skull(immune to fire block; Hellstone Bricks, Hellstone Blocks, Meteorite ore. If you fall/jump into lava you'll still die)

I was hoping to get some more meteors to fall on my world.. I want to make a Laser Gun(I forget the name) and molten armor.. we'll see how that goes :p

I'm also trying to farm Bone Serpents and Fire Imps for the Plumber's Hat, and then i'll buy the rest of the outfit from the clothier...

Yeah, I died horribly the fem times I tried going into the Underworld before I got my muramasa, even with Shadow armor, since there are just SO MANY imps and serpents to fight. It's not uncommon for me to be fighting off 3 imps and two bone serpents at the same time, but now I can handle it. From the 10 or 15 minutes I successfully survived in the Underworld, I got 4 Flowers of Fire and 2 Plumber's Hats. My world is "large", and it takes about 45 seconds of freefalling to get to the bottom, which is really long...

The Space Gun is really only useful if you craft Meteor armor too, since then it doesn't take any mana to use, but even if you do that it's pretty useless, since it's really weak. I think it did 4 damage to fire imps when I tried it, so not very useful. Out of the 4 meteors I've had land, 2 were on floating islands (and one island was swarming with harpies. If that happens to you, mine up the island from the bottom so they won't bother you), and one was in the Corruption.

I love it. I've played it a ton the past couple days since purchasing. I'm currently working toward getting a star cannon. I'm very close, I just need 20 or so gold coins to get the minishark, and I think I need two more bars or meteorite.

My world's name is Catland and my guy's name is Jonsi (Surprisingly.).

I'm not the fastest gamer out there, as I like to take my time, so my highest equipment is shadow stuff. Despite that, I use meteor armour because I love how it looks and I love using the space gun. Never played multiplayer though, so I have no idea whether there are elitists in this game.

I've never been past the stone layer and I've only very briefly experienced islands in the sky. I'm very experienced with corruption zones though. I seem to get tons.

Man I could go on and on. Great game.

I have a Large, and Medium sized world.

The two meteors I've had crash were both in corruption, I've only found 1 floating island and I got the Sunfury out of the chest, not a very useful weapon I find, haha.

10-15 minutes and you got that much Stuff?

I spent at least an hour and a half killing bone serpents for the SunFury Flail and out of all the fire imps I killed down there, only 5 flowers of Fire, and it was on an older version, so no plumber's hats .

Yeah, I was going for that with Meteor Armor, not only that but Rocket Boots are pretty fun, and I wouldn't mind them costing 20% less mana :p

That is pretty useless, haha 4 damage on fire imps.

I still am having no luck finding this underground Jungle, though..
