Are there any? Seems like there are plenty of pve players, are there any people that like the pvp aspect?

What got you into pvp?


Personally i got ganked and was so annoyed that no one would helpme that it ended up turning me into an wpvper fanatic. My annoyance at other people letting me down turned into an obsession with doing for other people what no one would do for me. I spent literally months where all i'd do was either respond to world defence alerts saying a horde town was under attack or i'd go to low level zones and ask in general if anyone needed help.

People still come up to me today and ask if im the same person from tbc. People have mentioned it in forums many times and a rp-pvp guild even organised a hunt for me specifically. Kinda annoyed me that some people thought i was just a ganker myself though because i only ever fought to defend lowbies/horde towns.

Since then ive moved into bgs(which i love) and im a reluctant arena player too. Still going strong , I'm on about 212 thousand kills atm and am hoping to get the bloodthirsty title by the end of the year.

Yep. I just got into the PvP aspect as far as Cataclysm goes. For me, the attractiveness is in the fact that I can go at my own pace. I dont need to be commited into some sort of raiding schedule, to "hope" at gaining a drop piece. I PvPed a bit back in Wrath, at the point where ICC just got launched. I had a huge surplus of triumph emblems, and fitted myself with a decent PvP kit. As of now, Im in a large quantity of viscious gear, sporting the ruthless helm. Mind you, I started PvP about a week ago.

I enjoy the world PvP part, as I sported a very bad computer all the way from classic to mid wrath, and got killed a lot. I enjoy the fact that I am able to psychologically dominate the other player, crushing them into the dust. I dont pick on lower levels though. I keep my kills to the Lv 85s who think its fun to bomb Halaa, unaware that they only have 90k, sporting only greens. Im on the PvP realm Executus, RP-PvP seems fun, but most of my friends arent into that sort of thing, so I never bothered looking into them much.

You have a fantastic kill count, I am no where near that level. As i said, I just started recently, doing only minor PvP through classic with my awfull computer. I used PvP to get some epic gear back in tbc, other than that, my computer sucked, and I found organised PvP incredibly fustrating.
