Does anyone else play the Sims Social on Facebook?

I lik the originals better. The Sims Social is too much work.

I totally agree. It's dumb that you have to collect parts to build furniture and other objects. In real life if you bought a couch you wouldn't have to assemble it. I have the first Sims, Sims 2, and Sims 3. I don't like Sims 3 but I'm really obsessed with Sims 2.

I bought The Sims 3 and one expansion pack, and I have the entire Sims 2 games and expansion packs. The Sims 2 is my favorite.

Does anyone know what sims you can get for the wii console and are they any good?

I think they have "My Sims" for the Wii (actually, I've played My Sims Kingdom on it), but you follow a story layed out for you. They have a Sims game for the Nintendo DS, and the PS2 as far as I know. The best way to play it is on the computer though.

Same here!!

Sims 2 kicks Sims 3's butt! I've got The Sims + all EPs, The Sims 2 + all EPs & SPs, and Sims 3 with all EPs and SPs to date (got Pets pre-ordered).
I'm going to collect Sims until I DIE!

I've got Sims Social but I never play it, it takes up too much time and it's as pointless ad farmville. That's basically all it it, farmville with sims.

tried it a couple times.
it's way too much to do....

the original games on the consoles had way too much to do...and now on FB...is infinitely impossible to keep up with it.
i stopped playing.

Sims social is only good if you have lots of friends who play it obsessively. I only have one such friend and so my rooms aren't being built... Why can't I just flipping build it myself!?

My favourite main Sims game is Sims 3 with all the current expansion packs. I am looking forward to the pets expansion (although no doubt it will be filled with bugs like Generations!) and I am going to buy it when it comes out here. I still like the Sims 2 but definitely prefer 3. If I had another computer I would play Sims 2 as well because mine is full of Sims 3. I have all the Sims 2 games.

I never looked into it. If you need friends that play I'm glad I didn't bother. I have few Facebook friends and most of them aren't gamers.

I'd rather just play Sims 3 which I have and I have all the expansion packs.
