A company called Replay games has bought the IP for the Leisure Suit Larry games. Whats more is that they're remaking the original Sierra titles with updated graphics and a new graphical interface. I think this is a good thing because it brings these original games to a new generation of gamers who may only have experienced the crumby Magna Cum Laude and Box Office Bust, but the originals are much better. What's more is that Al Lowe, the original creator of the series, is also involved:

Note: This game series is not for under 18's.

Seems how I was one of those gamers who only played Magna Cum Laude, I look forward to this reboot. :D

I hope that this reboot goes well too.

Hmm, I actually hoped that there would be more replies to this thread.

Ahh.... the remake finally comes to the world of gaming. Who needs creativity? :P

Actually, I don't mind old games being modernized and updated...

I know many purists would howl bloody murder, but I'd love to see Fallout/Fallout 2 converted into a FPS/RPG.

Oh goody! I played magna cum laude and before I had it I always wanted it because it was one of the naughty games hehehe I'd love to see how the new graphics would be. They have less sexy games out now and more focus on violence and wars :?

Unfortunately, that's because many retail stores in the US, including Wallmart, refuse to sell games rated AO by the ESRB. I personally don't understand why there's such an aversion to sex in video games but they're perfectly OK with high levels of violence.

heretic
"we found a witch, may we burn her??"

all that aside i think they should focus on a new way to expand the wasteland instead of spending time copy pasting content

I agree, we've already seen a remake earlier of LSL and it would be better to create new content.

I am not that the original 4...(5?) were unfunny, a remake will only be fun for one playthrough because you've played it already..
