would be nice to create a WP members allowed server list for minecraft, maybe even chain them together using multiworld API.

That was my original idea to make it a whitelist for wp members however according to can i host a minecraft server site the max I can have on the server is 12, so I decided not to make it whitelist. Now what do you mean "chain them together with multiworld API"?

its a mod framework that allows multiple servers to be chained together via portals (they look like nether portals but made of specialized blocks)
i dont know if there are more people hosting minecraft servers on wp but i posted mine a while back, never saw anyone though.(was in another thread about minecraft)

ah. I remember seeing your server before if I remember correctly it was for another user who's brother and his friends kicked him off of his server and was looking for another one.

Added it to my MP list, says it can't be reached.

@Thandurin thanks for the notice. After looking into why there might be an issue I seem to forget the port number :/ anyway the IP should now be 5.195.106.151:25565 if that does not work PM me and I will try to fix it.

Me and a friend are looking for a server to join since we can't make our own. I may turn up and mine things!

Right now there seems to be an issue with connecting to the server without the use of Logmein Hamachi. I am trying to fix it now, in the mean time if u want to join message me and I will give u the hamachi server info

i host my own minecraft 1.1.0 server called oddworld.
currently there is a limited server population, plenty of room for any wp'ers who might want to join.

there are a few simple rules
-respect the property of others(we are currently building a public infrastructure as well, when finished it should allow for a true economy)
-dont troll
-if you ruin something built by another, repair it,

the server is located at 176.31.232.104:25634
the server is currently running on the whitelist principle(this is only to allow for removal and prevention of trolls)

A friend and I really want to play together on Minecraft. We cant make a server, but I'm glad others have.

I've never tried Minecraft, but I do like the idea of making friends online and playing online computer games with them... I sure miss being pro active with a friend or two in life, so I will look into this.
