So all the MMO players out there probably already know about it, but anyone planning on checking out Guild Wars 2. I'm actually pretty impressed with everything I've read so far, it definitely sounds like Arenanet has done their homework. Whether or not it will remain fun after a month is yet to be determined, but I must say it definitely looks like it could.

Eagerly awaiting it. Arenanet knows a thing or two about making their customers happy.

I'm snatchin a copy April 10. Gonna play the hell out of this during the betas.

And for anyone planning on getting CE's, think twice before you spend your money.

Yeah, the statue is cool for the CE but I wish it had more digital items in it; the way it is now doesn't seem worth the price imo.

I pre-purchased the standard edition today at EB. Hopefully my computer can run this game. I can just run Skyrim on low settings.

You'll probably be alright then.

Also got my pre-order today :)

Perhaps, but I suspect I will not have the time for what is not quite my preferred genre.

I will try it since it is now largely open world, and I will get to play with a good friend of mine who will show me the ropes. Can't wait... It looks interesting and unique for an MMORPG, just hope GW2 has a lot of crafting, I love crafting.

Not preordering because I can't afford it right now, but I will purchase it when it becomes available.

I played a lot of the first Guild Wars and will likely continue to do so as long as the servers are up.

There is armor, weapon, and accessory crafting as well as cooking. =)
