FES version on PSN for PS3?

Or P3P?

The advantages of FES is it's just all around better and also cheaper by 10 bucks.

But I won't be able to play except at home.

It really depends. The main thing I liked about the psp version was controlling my other party members, but the cutscenes in the ps2 version are pretty cool. You could always just watch those on youtube though. I think the psp version is a good deal easier too but its not like Persona 3 is as hard as its SMT relatives. The epilogue (The Answer) isn't that great and very grindy but has cool music.

IMO get FES, play that first then later on if you want to play P3 again buy the psp version. I think the first time through you should experience the game on the ps2.

I don't have a psp, so I can't tell you what that one was like, but I enjoyed FES a lot, played it through and enjoyed it, rather than some games where you end up playing to see the the end of the story.

FES all the way! I hated the graphical downgrade for the majority of the game, and other changes made to the gameplay, a lot of which had to do with making it more like P4, which is a game that I have a lot of big and small problems with. But, there's no excuse for taking away the ability to choose your weapon in P3P, and sabotage the fusion spell system. You no longer regain your hp and mp by returning to the lobby, unless you pay the clock. That made sense in P4, as a limiting factor to how long you could spend in the dungeon, since that game didn't have tiredness. In P3P, it's just added in to make the game that much more difficult, and if anything, being able to regain your stats simplified things, which is something to consider for convenience when playing a game like that on the go. There are a few things I liked about P3P, like the square button warp feature from P4, and of course, the female version, and other extra content. But, as far as I'm concerned, FES will always be the definitive male version of the game.
