Well, I haven't played a lot of DS, but Xenoblade chronicles for wii is really good, seeing as the wii is a bit behind with all the graphic stuff compared to ps and xbl :) from what I've played, I actually think the professor Layton games, while very simple, utilise their graphics more than a lot of games do, involving you in them.

You know you could have just edited your other topic to include the wii, right?

ps2? Probably Silent Hill 3. I recall being really impressed by the water effects for Metal Gear Solid 2, so I'd save MGS2 and Snake Eater as well.

PSX? Probably Valkyrie Profile or Legend of Mana. Metal Gear Solid had really awesome graphics too for its time.

PS3? Both Demon and Dark Souls. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon had some really great graphics and effects too. MGS4 looked really good but I've yet to play it.

Can't say for the wii or ds. Only games I played on my ds were the Pokémon series and Devil Survivor.

It's funny when people instinctively just name their favorite video game in threads like these.

PS2: Kingdom Hearts 2

PS3: Final Fantasy: XIII

Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2

DS: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

3DS: Super Mario 3D Land

I wasn't. I didn't even like Assault Horizon much but thought it had great graphics, I was trying to be as objective as possible. I named Valkyrie Profile and LoM because they both used gorgeous sprites and pre-rendered graphics, the apex of the style, since 3d was still kind of ugly during the psx era until the time of MGS where it actually looked kinda good. I considered naming Resident Evil 2, another beautiful game, but again it mostly used pre-rendered.

I was being very objective about SH3, its not even my favorite Silent Hill game but it has incredible graphics that are very artistic and at times just looking at them you can feel the torment/pain of the otherworld, especially in alternate brookhaven. MGS2 and 3 again was me being objective.

I played a bit of FF13, again I preferred the style of the 'Souls games, lots of really breathtaking architecture and places that ooze atmosphere, like the Tower of Latria.

But hey nice potshot at me when you did the exact thing, unless you're trying to say your opinion is more objective than mine.

I never said anything about you. I meant other threads like these on gaming sites. You must have a guilty conscience or something.

Zone of Enders had good graphics out of the games that came out in between 2001-2003

Yakuza also had good graphics game compared to other free roaming games that came out at that time, definitely an underrated gem.

I didn't play FF VIII, but I remember the cutscene graphics were quite good.
