Hows it playing on your computer?
I've heard a few bad things about the PC port, but I've been thinking about picking it up.

Hows it compare to the first one?

It is a straight port, and plays much better with an xbox controller plugged into the computer as using the keyboard and mouse is just weird and frustrating...

If you don't have a ps3 or 360 buy a controler like the above poster said. If you do have a ps3 or 360 just get the console version, they are nearly identical, no upscaled graphics or anything, PC version just comes with the full game and the extra dlc content. If you get the console version you'll have to buy the dlc, if its even out.

Have you played much Dark Souls yet? It's not really designed to play with other people you know. The underlying network infrastructure doesn't really support that type of play and neither does the gameplay. Playing coop requires one of you to be human and one undead. Each play session where each of you are undead will require one humanity from one of you to become human to summon the other. Humanity is a rare and difficult to obtain resource for most of the game, only really farmable in specific areas in the Tomb of Giants and the Depths. Also, the undead player completing a section of the game only receives souls from the play session and will need to progress through that area again as human in order to progress.

I've been co-oping it since demon's souls, multiple play throughs WITH my friends. :) it works you just have to take the time to summon the person and have to beat bosses/areas twice. but that adds to the fun anyways.
that and you can be summoned while you are human, you don't have to be undead!
