Halo 4's Difficulty

Is it just me or is Halo 4 much more difficult than the previous Halo games? I'm playing on Normal and I'm sort of having a hard time with it.

I have been having a lot of dificulty at the multiplayer, I have been doing so worse than I have in the previous games as it feels so much more chaotic and more required of mid range accuracy with the Battle rifle and DMR, which I have dificulty with. I can use the Carbine and Assault Riffle in single player alright, I my accuracy sucks in multiplayers. Can barely get close before getting killed in a couple seconds.

As for campaign, I think the enemy are more erratic, they are harder to see than previous games, verbal cues are a little harder.
