Technic pack's my favorite as well.

Too bad I can never find a server that isn't full of kids who like to kill people and steal stuff on sight.

Optifine! I was used to seeing blue voids about 20 meters away, then i installed this beauty and now i can see distant mountains! I am still really uninformed about the Minecraft mod scene, what are some of the essential mods?

Ugh more of this Technic stuff, they steal everything. If you want a fun, LEGAL and 1.4.7 modpack, get Fead the Beast.
