Want to play it but will wait. Bioshock games drop in price hard.

If the preorder promotion for BIoshock Infinite is any indication, just wait for the next major release from 2K Games and you'll get Bioshock Infinite for free!

I still need to work on the previous games, dammit!

I do admit that it looks really good.

I'm still on level 2 or 3 of System Shock, but I've beat SS2 and BS1.

Too many games to play, too little time =|

I'm playing through it a second time on 1999 mode. I never really liked the original Bioshock game. It had terrible gameplay that revolved around shooting enemies that mainly just ran straight towards you, the only difficulty being in the increasingly absurd amount of bullets enemies could absorb. But this game has not only a story and setting that surpasses its predecessor, but elements that create really innovative gameplay such as the mobility afforded by your magnetic grappling hook, powers that are actually useful for the entirety of the game, and enemies that really require you to use those powers. It also has the same wealth of ideas and inspired art design that characterised the earlier games. It's a really great game, and a breath of fresh air after playing the last critically acclaimed FPS, Far Cry 3, which though very fun was disappointing in some respects.

I saw some of this game, it looks pretty good. it's too bad I can't afford such expensive games like Bioshock Infinite.

Well, not to spoil anything, but man... the ending...

This is such a fantastic game. So few games, let alone action games, put the focus on story and characterization. I actually liked Booker, and I loved Elizabeth. This is why the whole silent protagonist thing was a mistake. Story > Questionable Immersion Gimmicks.

It's a great game, but it's more of a shooter than a SHOCK family member in my oppinion.

All of the Bioshock games have been, really. They lacked almost all of the RPG elements from System Shock. I don't even consider them the same immediate family, just related. Kinda like Deus Ex and Invisible War.
