Daylight (PC, PS4)
I pre-ordered Daylight earlier this month, hoping to get more and more horror games. Well, this one was a big disappointment. It wasn't very scary. It did mange to give me a couple of good scares, but they were within seconds of each other. Is the game hard? By no means is it hard. I died 3 times total and in the same level. One player on Twitch said he didn't die even once and got a trophy for it. I found the game very repetitive and tedious. There wasn't much interesting about it, aside from the story, but I found parts of the story rather cliched, too. It runs on the newest Unreal Engine and it's the only game to do so, so far. Would I be correct in assuming that that's why the game is a bit laggy in places? I discovered that PS4 users had the same issue that I had with the lagginess. It didn't matter what my settings were. I had thought it was my CPU, but I have a 3.6 Ghz 6-core cpu. It recommends a 3.4Ghz (I assume quad core). I really can't say I recommend this game, but you might try it if you really want another horror game, but in one week the dlc for Outlast will be out, too.
