I just got the new Need for Speed Most Wanted for the Wii U today, and the graphics are so good that my brain can't keep up with everything that's going on. It also doesn't help that I'm not used to the handling of cars in the game. I keep crashing into stuff every few seconds. I didn't have this problem with Need for Speed Carbon that came out back in 2006, or the old Need for Speed Most Wanted that came out back in 2005. I wish there was some way that I could tone down the graphics a little, so that my brain could keep up with it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Interesting topic... I find for me its not specifically HD graphics I have a problem with, its when things in games start moving too quickly when things get difficult.

The racing games I had initial problems with was the WipEout games, from Fusion from the PS2 all the way to the PS3 versions. It eventually became less of a problem when focusing on the next corner, rather than the track. I also have the same problem with any high speed vehicle in a game, EG. Such as GT5 becomes a problem with vehicle speeds go beyond 200kph, especially when the field of view is on track.

Wonder if its connected with me not being able to travel in high speed vehicles? :?

Try changing the view, I know for FPS I can't handle certain field of views.

It might be going too fast too? I can't handle flashing games (or flashing anything, I get very very very cranky) or some games where I have to keep my attention focused on one spot while the rest of the screen moves around it, got vertigo and what I think was a small seizure by playing a guitar hero rip-off once... Been fine with ordinary guitar hero before though, maybe my brain changed for the worse since then.
Check the settings if there's any way to change it?
