I used to play Roblox a lot back in 7th grade ;p

Still get on from time to time XD.

Aside from that; I don't really play many building games.

There doesn't seem to be a very specific genre for "building" games. There are certainly Minecraft and clones of it, but there are others that stray from it that could still be described as a building game. As mentioned, the Sims is one of them. Although it is not a great Banjo-Kazooie game in that it is not a platformer like its predecessors, I do like Nuts & Bolts let you build near any kind of vehicle you wanted and wish more games would expand on this idea.

Minecraft.

Funny story. My older son introduced Minecraft to me a couple years ago. He use to play on a friend's server. I became obsessed with the idea of creating my own server. I created server so he and I could build together. The first thing I did was build a nice torch lit side walk from the spawn point to an area where I built a welcome center that contained tools and stuff. I looked really nice. The first time my son joins the server, I give him admin privileges. he's walking around, he gets to the door of the welcome center. I think he wanted to know if as admin he would die if he set himself on fire. The answer is yes. He panicked and started running around. He ran into the welcome center and set the welcome center on fire. It took less than three minute for him to log in. On one hand I was "no no no. not my welcome center." but my son made the whole thing so funny. It was a really nice welcome center. :D
