In a few days I am getting a new game for my x box (resident evil revelations). Recently I have been sleeping very well because of fresh air and exercise.

How can I sensibly play my video game during the day without it negativly effecting my quality of sleep at night?

Limit yourself to a few hours a day is the only thing I see that would work. Also avoid playing late at night and try to do something relaxing before you go to sleep, like reading a book.

Gaming always effects my sleep but I just don't care........

Does even playing during the afternoon effect your sleep later at night?

Set an hour at which you go to bed. I choose 11, though sometimes I go over that and wake up late, at like 8:10, instead of 7:10.

It usually depends on how long you play. If you play into the early evening, most likely.

Unless you have nightmares or something, I don't get how this would affect your sleep.

I think it's because video games require your mind to be very active. If you go right to sleep after playing a video game your mind will need a while before it's in "calm" mode again.
