Currently am getting really addicted to this game - so far really only playing in Arcade mode with mouse aiming since I don't have a proper joystick at the moment and found it too hard to control with a PS2 style gamepad. Unfortunately mouse-aiming seems to limit quite a bit your freedom to fly the plane so its a trade-off.
So far, I'm at level 5 for the Japanese, and level 4 for the US and Brits. Just starting out with the Germans and the Russians, am level 1 on both.
The Brits are frustrating because it seems like most of their planes have a very low reward factor, which makes getting experience with them quite time consuming, but most of their planes are fun. The Japanese I had to take a break from because their planes seem to be made of paper, it only takes one or two hits a lot of the time to bring them down.
In any case, so far I've found the game wildly fun. Anyone else playing this?
