I have a Wii that's primarily just used as a Netflix box. I have games for it and finished all of them except for one. Not the type to re-visit games.

What are some cheap, but good or even great Wii games that can be had for an average of lets say $10 +/- new or used? Actually, around $10 or even under would be very ideal.

Right now for games I'm looking at:

Dead Space: Extraction
Trauma Team/Trauma Centre

May consider an Animal Crossing game, but I'm not into the more "kiddy" kind of style of games. It does look like a game that you can sink a lot of hours into though.

Monster Hunter Tri is pretty good, got it for $13.99. Okami is fantastic, new for $19.99. I have no idea what Twilight Princess is running these days. The problem with Wii games is that the great & almighty awesome games are all selling used for $40 around here, because they can. It annoys me.

I want to get Okami, but have come to the conclusion it's a really rare game to find out in the wild.

I had Monster Hunter Tri, mostly cause it was a good deal with the classic controller bundle. Got into the game ok at first, but not into relentless grinding. Traded that game off fast.

Yeah, I hate how certain Nintendo games never go down in price like every other game.

I have Twilight Princess, great game. Don't mind accessible RPG's.

I want to say Xenoblade Chronicles, except I don't know it's price nor it's rarity. Mario games are always a good bet, although Zelda can be good as well. Due to Wii's placement during it's generation, a lot of the good games are just going to be first-party titles. That said, if you can afford the price and the search, Xenoblade is a must get.

Yep, looked into Xenoblade Chronicles. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's no longer in print and pretty rare these days. I think even used they can fetch a pretty penny. Regardless it does look like a great game.

Wii isn't really in the best position game-wise right now xD. It has a lot of games, but not many of them are for the core gamer audience.

Have you tried the Eshop?

Yeah, I have some Eshop games. Mostly just classic Mario, OOT, Blaster Master, River City Ransom, stuff like that.

I do prefer to have games on disc by and large.

The Animal Crossing games can be surprisingly entertaining, they have a lot to do in them.

Metroid Prime (Corruption, etc) might be worth a try I hear. Corruption doesn't sell for much used.

Trauma Center is a great game. I love the characters. :)

For cheap games, I would suggest MySims/MySims Kingdom. It's pretty cutesy and simplistic, but I enjoyed it thoroughly and logged in around 40+ hours on it.

I'd recommend the Cooking Mama series. :) You'll hours of mindless fun with it.

Is it? o_O

I know a place where I could get it right now for $10.

I got all of these for around $5 each from GameStop, and they're still that price, so they definitely fit your "less than $10" stipulation.

I JUST bought it new two days ago for $20 at our local non-gamestop-trade-in place. And there's always Amazon. When they sell new, factory sealed Dreamcasts, I think you can find Okami, yes.

I don't have a credit card of my own, so getting things on-line is a rarity.
