Need help installing Star Wars Republic Commando

I'm trying to Install and play Star Wars Republic Commando on my new laptop a Windows 7
I put the disc in it comes up everything's normal it starts to install then shortly after it starts this image comes up that says "Feature Transfer Error" that said data error cycle redundancy check
does anyone have any idea on what I can do to fix this???
also the version of the game I got is The Best of PC version with those four other games which all work perfectly on my new computer and my previous one along republic commando it just won't work on this one
