My mom got me one for Christmas (haven't opened it yet because I'm waiting until we get back from an out of state trip.) and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I'm thinking about Majora's Mask, Castlevania, Pokemon Stadium and Duke Nukem. I've played Pokemon Stadium and really love it, but I'm curious about Castlevania and Duke Nukem.

I would suggest conker's bad fur day and super mario 64. I also recommend super smash brothers and ocarina of time.

Operation Winback is a good third-person shooting action game. The N64 version is objectively the best one.

Conker's Bad Fur Day goes for about £100 on eBay. There are plenty of other games available that are a lot easier on the wallet.

I'll throw in a few:

Pilotwings 64 (SNES original is the best, but still a good game)
Road Rash 64 (highly customisable and a ton of different weapons)
International Superstar Soccer 64 (great if you love soccer games)
Premier Manager 64 (great if you love football management sims)
Golden Eye (iconic first person shooter)

Super Mario 64
Mario Kart
Diddy Kong Racing
F-Zero X
Iggy's Reckin' Balls
Mario Party

Blast Corps

I never got hold of this game myself, (I don't even know if it came here; I never found it), but if ClayFighter 63⅓ was as good as its predecessors, it's worth getting.

I'll second Blast Corps.

Other than Mario 64, Blast Corps, to me, is the entire reason for the console's existence.

I know most people hated the N64 Castlevania(s), but I really liked it. It actually felt like a real CV game, but in 3D...and then Konami abandoned the format and went Metroidvania for the rest of their days.

My ex loves Castlevania. I don't know which ones he played because I don't really communicate with him anymore.

My mom thinks that I'd like it, too.

Well, I finally have my N64 on my entertainment center. It is in mint condition. Since I don't have any games for it, I used the cables to hook up my Gamecube and played some of my Gamecube games :)

The Nintendo 64 is my favorite video game console. As a collector, here are some of the games that I'd recommend above all others.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time - It's a fun game for all different types of gamers. It's definitely a must-have.
Zelda: Majora's Mask - The Sequel to Ocarina of Time. It's fun, but only if you're up to giving yourself a challenge. Nothing is just "given" to you in this game.
Super Mario 64 - The quintessential platformer on the Nintendo 64. A must-have.
Banjo-Kazooie - Another well made and unique platformer for the Nintendo 64. Feels different from Super Mario 64 although the games are similar concepts.
Banjo-Tooie - The sequel to Banjo-Kazooie. Considered by many to be the better game.
Conker's Bad Fur Day - A hilarious platformer (see a pattern here? lol) with crude, humor. If you're not into adult humor, then this game isn't for you. If you are, it's worth the money.

I could go on and on with N64 titles I love and why. Looking for a racing game? Try Mario Kart 64 or Diddy Kong Racing. Looking for a shooter? Try Goldeneye 007 or Perfect Dark.

If you have any questions or are curious on my thoughts about any Nintendo 64 game, PM me!
