So, I just picked up a gal tab s 8.4 for school (honest)...

I dl'ed Asphalt 8 just to see what it could do. I gotta say, I was pretty surprised with the tablet and the game. It plays a lot like Burnout! and runs nice and smooth on my little gal-tab.

Can anybody suggest a few more good, free games (not candy or bird related) for my little tablet?

If you are into card games they have a decent rendition of UNO in which you play other humans in real time. It's called "UNO and Friends" I think lol. Another option if you're acquainted with the process of video game console emulation is numerous emulators for just about any system.

You know you can get a pirated version of nearly ever Android app on the market.

How pathetic do you hafta be to pirate an Android app?

All the best apps/games I've seen are free anyway.

The ONLY app I'd consider paying for is MS Word, and that's completely free...

Seriously, name a single app WORTH the trouble to pirate.

The only app I ever paid for is TuneIn and I only did that out of the goodness of my heart. Because I streaming stuff constantly and I just wanted to support the dev.

I love the fact that Android is so open and most stuff is free... But I don't see the point in pirating a free app like Asphalt 8 for example...

What's to pirate there? The game is free. What money it makes is from in-app upgrade purchases--better cars, and mods for cars... The thing is, you don't need to purchase ANYTHING (I don't) because you can get all those upgrades simply by winning races.

I guess, if you could hack all the upgrades, that would be something... but still kind of a lame something.

I find that the Super Stickman Golf games are excellent!

Great little physics type games.

I've spent the last two years searching the Android store for good RPGs. Recently I've found two.

Band of Monsters and Machine Knight are both free RPGs made by Kemco. Band of Monsters is a Pokemon knock-off, and both RPGs have Super Nintendo style graphics.

These games have good control schemes. Most games have a crummy direction buttons on the touch screen, and that just doesn't work for me. With the Kemco RPGs, you touch a place on the screen and the main character walks there. This means you can play that game while eating breakfast or something.

A rougelike called Pixel Dungeon works on the same principle.

If you can handle having direction buttons on the screen, Bad Nerd and Raptor RPG look good.

There's another app similar to the Play Store called SlideMe. I've only played with it a little bit and I can't say if it is any better.
