So a few days ago I picked up the first two seasons (games) because it was half off on Xbox One, and I have just played through both. Wow it was an experience, my first time really playing something like this. You have limited time to choose what to say, so you are better off trying to choose what you think rather than analysing what would have the better outcome. Your decisions can get someone killed and it can make yourself feel horrible, but you can't just load back and change your decision, so hard when you get so attached, and there often is no right decision. Obviously there are spoilers here, so read my thoughts at own risk.

The first season has you just trying to protect a small child, trying to do right by her and in my case be someone to look up to. In the end I find that Lee did indeed make some mistakes in the past, but all he has tried to do since is help Clementine, even if not everyone might see it that way.

Season 2 had me in the position of Clementine, trying to be strong like Lee showed me, but still show the mercy he had, try and protect others, and still be just a kid. There were a number of hard moments, from protecting Nick only for him to make a mistake, which was not unlike a certain college kid in the first season. Trying to be friends with Sarah, trying to follow what her father asked of not letting her know everything, finding that I had to make her strong to survive, and frustration when I couldn't do anything.

And most extreme was Kenny, that everyone thought he was a danger because he did not quite act normal, he lost his family and he just wanted to protect decent people and not be betrayed again. My character screwed up and he lost his family again, the only way to help him was to put his mind on a new baby, he was a good guy and I could not let him fall into despair again. During events Clementine starts to become close with Jane who seems like an alright person, she is a loner but she is helping, and she is lonely, she warns about the need to not get dragged down people who are worth it, she still seems like a good person. Everyone is not happy with Kenny because he is very angry at a kid who nearly got us all killed, the kid had been through a lot too, but still he was kind of to blame for his situation. I get betrayed and only have Kenny and Jane left, Clementine injured and still having the baby in need, the fighting between the two is harsh, but it is not the time to fight and we need a little faith. Before long it comes down to it looking like Jane had lost the baby, she tells me that she will show the sort of person Kenny is, it seems a little clear to me the player that the baby being gone is a farce and before long there is a brawl with Kenny about to kill Jane. The only way to save Jane is to shoot Kenny who is furious, but I can't do it, everything Kenny did, all he did was want to protect us and everyone else has just seen him as a broken angry man, the truth is that Jane knew Kenny would act like this, she wanted him to snap so she could be done with him. Jane was a nice person, but she did something so foolish, it was sad, but nowhere near as sad as the end sometime later where Clementine needed to say goodbye to Kenny, there was a safe place but only for Clementine and the baby. I was indeed close to tears as I had seen this journey of people trying to get Clementine somewhere safe, and of Kenny trying to protect his family in whatever form it was at the time, and they had to separate a broken man who had lost everyone he loved, and a little girl who was always looking for family too.

It just felt like a really good story and interesting experience of a game. Very immersive.

My Clem didn't part with Kenny. Intriguing story, great characters. Possibly the best game from TTG so far of those I've played (The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands). Looking forward to the next episode.

I felt that the baby had to be protected, it was not safe for it to continue to be out in the open with little supplies. If I could have made the decision I would have left the baby safe and stayed with Kenny, but that was not an option. The whole time he was trying to get family somewhere safe, and I think that might have been a success, I thought that perhaps knowing that he could manage to be strong. Although next episode things will probably go bad.

Supposedly, but Wellington could be a death trap. They're already hard pressed judging from the difficulty to get in and the rejection of Kenny. The baby gives Kenny a reason to live, and he will protect it with his own life if necessary. Kenny was the best option in my opinion.
