Ah, this is the way DLC should be done, as opposed to things like $5 for a new gun that's a different color from your old gun in.... certain recent shooters.
I'll be grabbing these.
And I too wasnt very fond of Baby Park. Probably for that same reason.
And the name "Big Blue" catches at my memory, I could swear I've heard it before, but I cant quite get at it..... uuhhh.... I'm thinking, F-Zero? Or maybe not. That's what it makes me think of anyway.

Big Blue is a regular course from the F-Zero series...!

I quite like the new tracks. So far Baby Park has been quite fun, as has the tree, Ribbon Road, and the subway. And I find Isabelle to be absolutely adorable, so I have been using her.

This is the better pack.
On the Animal Crossing track, you get Animal Crossing sound effects and the coin counter on the screen turns to bells.
The Villager racers makes his emotion sounds when something happens.
I personally love the new beetle kart, I find it very useful in 150cc.

I like some tracks in each, others not so much. Animal Crossing in particular for the new DLC ( the Bells aren't just the counter either, the coins are actually the smaller denominations of Bells ), and Isabelle actually speaks in Animalese. I also love when my favorite villager, Rosie, makes an appearance on the sidelines, and the results screen plays The Roost
Then there's Big Blue...my favorite F-Zero music remixed for a crazy all anti-gravity 3-part track complete with coins earned by driving through the pit areas, the F-Zero X announcer on the final lap and the SNES results music playing on the results screen ( that last one also happens on the Mute City track )
And then there's Excitebike with it's awesome remixed medley and randomized track content, and Hyrule Circuit using Rupees in place of coins, that awesome Zelda Theme remix, the "opening a chest" tune when you get an item and other Zeda nods...
If they decide to do more DLC, I hope they do tracks for EarthBound and Xenoblade, as well as tweaking courses from Excite Truck, ExciteBots and Kirby Air Ride....but mostly still hoping to see an 8 course Rainbow Cup taking us through all 8 Rainbow Road tracks in order from SNES to Wii U, as well as maybe a track or 2 from the arcade games....

I already know about the rupees in Zelda track.
The Zelda track also has Zelda enemies and sound effects.
The Animal Crossing track has Resetties instead of Monty Moles.
I still want from N64:
Moo Moo's Farm
Frappe's Snowland
Sherbert Land
DK Jungle Parkway
Choco Mountain
I also want Block Fort and Double Deck battle stages.
SS:
Sky Garden
DD:
Mushroom Bridge
Mushroom City
Waluigi Staduim
DS:
Waluigi's Pinball Table
Delfina Square
Airship Fortress
Shroom ridge
Wii:
Moonview Highway
Coconut Mall
Koopa Cape
Mushroom Gorge
7:
Wuhu Loop
Piranha Plant Slide
Rosalina Ice world
Music Park
Maka Wuhu
I also would love to see the return of the following items:
Egg
Giant Banana
Heart
Thunder Cloud
Bowser Shell
Mega Mushroom
Pow Block
Boo (N64)
Poison Mushroom (SMK)
Fake Item Box that blends with the regular boxes like the N64 did.
