So I recently got this game off of ebay, finally found it for cheap....I really like the concept, the whole dark version of Alice in Wonderland kind of theme that is pretty cool. It is however a difficult game, I am playing it on easy and still finding parts of it quite challenging....like right now I am stuck on a part where I have to jump onto invisable platforms I can make visable for a short amount of time by making alice small lol via the R2 button I belive it is and to make it even better I have to jump across it quick or some of the platforms fall once the bomb thing she sets on a button that makes them come up goes off....which gives me like 30 seconds to somehow make it across all those and hit a mushroom thing that bounces her up just right to make it to the door at the end.

Lol there is a cheat to unlock the whole game but I wont feel as accomplished if I use that rather than just beating it myself even if it is really hard in some parts. Anyways if you like a challenge or just enjoy the story of Alice and Wonderland and are curious to see a darker version.

I have it for the Ps3. I found the beginning difficult, but got used to the controls rather quickly.

I am pretty much used to the controls at least getting there...lol its the jumping across stuff that can get hard though, especially in the parts where you have to jump onto invisible platforms. But I think after completing this game I will have better PS3 gaming skills, that is for sure. PS3 is my favorite console, though I guess I did like the old nintendos...but for newer game systems playstation is my preference...for some reason playing games on Xbox makes me nauseous after about a half hour of continuous play but have not had that issue with other consoles.

So far I find if I am getting frustrated at all, if I take a break for a while and come back to things I get stuck on then I am usually able to get it eventually...but once I get frustrated then it's useless to keep trying because that interferes with clear thinking which is needed to hit the right controls with the correct timing and all that.

I played it on 360 for a bit, but I gave up once it got too frustrating for me. As for the shrinking mechanic, get the DLC outfits. One of them gives you infinite shrinking ability, which removes a good amount of frustration platforming wise.

I've been watching a longplay of the first game on YouTube and I read about the sequel on TV Tropes. They said it got mixed reviews. I wonder if people just hate on it because it's an EA game?

That certainly did help...now I might make it through the game more effectively.

What is wrong with EA? Also though it is a challenging game, I can see why some people wouldn't like it....Its not like challening like hard fights particularly though some are...but parts where you have to get timing just right, or jump at certain angles on to platforms and such without falling off can get to be rather tricky, and some levels are kind of puzzles you have to sort of solve if that makes sense and is kind of slow paced with kinda long cut scenes and an elaborate story....I could see people who prefer more straight action, first person shooters and those sorts of games not caring much for it.
