I don't know if I can decide. I'd much rather have the physical copy of those rewards, but...free is free...

Having NES Remix 2 alongside NES Remix 1 from last year would have been nice, if I hadn't been too lazy to get Platinum in time >_<

I tried to redeem my elite reward and it said I had already claimed mine. I have not. I contacted Nintendo about it. Hopefully it's a glitch or that they will fix it. They can just send me the code if the website goofed up.

Just to clarify (since I can't edit my post), it was last year that I didn't make Platinum. I learned my lesson this year and made sure to register my codes ASAP.

In Feb when they announced that Club Nintendo was closing, it seemed like the site was bogged down for weeks.

This keeps happening to me too...either this or randomly has me signed out and says I'm not eligible, or it throws the "under maintenance" page at me. smh, Nintendo better put more effort into the new program when it starts

Nintendo is having DeNA build their new backend system for the new rewards program this fall.

I have no idea what that means....what's DeNA? Is that a good thing?

DeNA is the company who are going to be making cell phone games using Nintendo licenses.

DeNA is a mobile and backend infrastructure company in Japan.
They also have a deal with Nintendo to help them make mobile games as well as build the backend for Nintendo's new reward program and account system.
The reward program will be across all devices and might be tied with the account system.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I remember reading on IGN about the mobile games but I forgot the name of the company they're working with...

oh, and I finally got my Mario Kart 7. I got really lucky with Club Nintendo Friday morning :D
