Sorta related, almost, in an "I'm too lazy to find a better link than this one and make a new topic" sort of way, there is this flying around a bit right now:

For those that play Smash at all, I'm curious as to what any of you think of this one, if he were to make it into the game (and I've seen a ton of people that do want him in there, and as DK's nemesis in many of his games, it makes sense too). The only complaint I've heard is something along the lines of "Oh great, another heavy character that we'll never see used at tournaments". Since apparently all anyone uses is the small guys, sigh. I seem to do just fine with the heavy ones, myself... though as I tend to have a somewhat unusual fighting style in most games, that may not mean much.
Still, I'd like to see him in here, honestly. I think he'd be a great fit, particularly with his wide array of possible wacky attacks from the game's he's been in.
Wether or not this has anything to do with the Smash ballot, I've no idea. And of course, it's just speculation. That's the only link I have of it right now. And yeah, I know, the Mii costume of him recently is there, but still, I think the idea of him as an actual character there is neat.

Actually, King K Rool is one of my top 10 most wanted Smash newcomers. I've even already voted fro him in the Smash Ballot. I can see his moves being taken from across all 3 DKC games, the DKL games, King of Swing, Jungle Climber and DK64...and maybe he'll at least have Kaptain K Rool for an alt costume. The thing that bugs me though, is how everyone's been flipping out over the costume, like it somehow automatically means he won't get in as a fighter now. The ballot is still going, and he's HIGHLY requested...there's still a good chance ( same with Krystal, though I worry Sakurai will get lazy with her & just make her another Fox clone... )
