Phoenix Wright Anime Attorney
Anyone like the Gyakuten Saiban games?
Watched this video AGES ago and thought there wasn't a clean version of it on the Net anymore. I was wrong, check it out!

^ Indeed! So you haven't played Apollo Justice then? That's part 4, and pretty decent as well.
There's also Ace Attorney x Professor Layton crossover for 3DS!
But you've gotta be a fan of Professor Layton puzzle solving to like it.
Tho I don't know many people who dislike Prof. Layton. ![]()

I played the LaytonxWright title, it was alright.
I actually played Apollo Justice and then Dual Destinies on 3DS, that and the first Miles Edgeworth Investigations (wish they had localized the other Edgeworth titles).
I don't like Apollo as much as a character or what they did to Phoenix Wright in Apollo's game, Dual Destinies was a little better if Athena wasn't so damn bubbly and annoying to look at, though I did like Blackquill's character.

AcexLayton sure had its cheesy moments, like when Prof and Phoenix reunited in the catacombs. Damn, that was cheesy! But it was still quite interesting plot. I found the ending of the trial with the apprentice of the alchemist quite sad honestly.
Actually haven't played Dual Destinies/Gyakuten Kenji. No spoiler pls!

I'd bet though if you're looking for translation of later releases of the games, there's probably some fan translated "games" *coughromscough* out there.
But yeah, Apollo Justice wasn't as good as its predecessors, although it was good in its own right, the music was better than Trials & Tribulations for sure IMO. T&T music was so arcade-style and not as "lively" as the other games...
BTW there's some rly nice Ace Attorney fan-cases on Youtube. Some are really authentic-looking. Not bad at all!
"Turnabout Substitution" for example. Couldn't find a clean (no let's play, just playthough) version though, like I watched once.
Maybe you can find that from your country, IF you're interested in watching that.
No worries, won't spoil anything!
I have heard about fan translations of the Investigations series, but I really hate playing on emulators. I tried to replay FFVI on an emulator and it just didn't have any appeal, I hate using the keyboard and have even tried using Xpadder and my Xbox controller to simulate the feel of a real console game, but seriously it just irks me for reasons I can't understand. Which makes it difficult to play the games I never got to play that had such great reviews (Xenogears, I'm looking at you!)
Yeah there was some decent music in Apollo, but I think I've liked just about every game's music pretty well. T&T a little less so, with the first Ace Attorney having some of my favorite pieces. God you just can't beat Ace Attorney's Pursuit/Cornered piece.
Interesting that people have built new cases, I've not really seen anything except for some spoofs and the Phoenix Wrong stuff, which are just brilliant. Disappointing though that they're in the form of Let's Plays, as I really can't stand those.

Have you ever heard the Cadenza version of Pursuit/Cornered? It's pretty amazing. There's a whole bunch of Cadenza tracks... and coincidentally, the video in OP post is using one of them!
Yeah I guess playing on emulator can be annoying, I once tried playing with neighbors PS3 controller, wasn't so good. Tho I've gotten used to the keyboard and the various options like fast forward that regular consoles don't have. Definitely not gonna play RPGs without fast forward anymore, that's way too slow!
Yeah, there are some funny spoofs (Boot to the Head is pretty decent too IMO!) but there's also a lot of trashy ones, sadly.
Let's plays are alright with me, BUT for this kinda game where a lot of the main part of it is "mood", having someone talk over it really REALLY sucks.
I hope I can find playthough without voice of Dual Destinies cause I'm probably gonna watch it one day. I actually have seen LaytonxWright on Youtube as don't own a 3DS and don't plan on getting one anytime soon.
