do you agree? its also really overrated and will give you nightmares

Fnaf is over-rated.

Fear the Fnord, instead.

I don't find it appealing or scary.

haha yeah, i can't even make it through night 2 on the first game (i gave up there so didn't play the later ones) it was just too scary, the jump scares got me every time and really scared me (i spilled a glass of water i had ALL over me, twice) so i quit after beating the first night because i couldn't really take it anymore....went better then outlast.....i got like half an hour into that game before i couldn't make it any further because it was both too hard and incredibly frightening (being chased by knife wielding physco's)... the only game i managed to get through was alien isolation, and that was only because i could actually avoid the alien even though it was really scary.

I don't think it's that scary. I do think it's the most cliche'd thing ever. Ooo, they're animatronic animals, so they are eeeevil. Jump scares. Oh, that's original, too.

To be honest I don't find most survival horror games, which I'm not a fan of, to be all that scary. Except when they have a ton of gore. Then they are just plain gross, and I do not want to watch or play them for that reason. It's when it's about something that could happen in real life like a pandemic of a real deadly disease or war or poison in our food that I get scared. Then I do not want to see it because I get upset and depressed. I can barely watch the news, so... I also don't like really sad, tear-jerking stuff in games. Like good and likable characters getting killed and such. They haunt me much more than scary scenes, sometimes for weeks.

I don't think FNAF is that bad game wise, but if you want a real lol and scared plus hate look at the fandom. You get crazy or poorly done OC's(Original Characters) from that literally break canon I kid you not and make ZERO sense. You'll end up hating the fandom more than the game. Overrated, yeah. Though I believe GTA Series is WAY more overrated than FNAF.

Though I never had nightmares from playing FNAF watching via YouTube. I think Manhunt is more worthy of nightmares due to how graphic the kills are and the execution.

I hope this thread is serious sarcasm.
